| Speed-Meter Measurement Point (Agent) setup |
| We are looking for websites that would like to cooperate
with us to build the international network of Speed-Meter Agents. |
Requirements:
- 100 kbyte web space - the URL does not matter as the agents are not
reachable directly by the users. Select the one which is the easiest for
you to setup:
- a subdirectory under your domain name OR
- a subdomain like tracert.yourdomain.xx OR
- a subdomain like: yourname.tracert.com
- CGI enabled directory with Perl 5
- ftp access - optional. We prefer to have direct access to the script so
we can update as
new versions come out but we understand that some sites won't let us do it
for security
reasons. On these sites we can update the script by sending it to you by e-mail
as well if you can promise to update the script within 24 hours. (Actually
we'll post the new version of the script on our server and you can get it from
there.
- We have tested our Agent on UNIX, NT and OS2 and it works on all of them.
