Setup a Measurement Point
Setting up a Measurement Point on your web server does not require much. It needs a CGI
enabled directory with Perl 5. You can see the details
here.
There are certain benefits for setting up a measurement point
- We will regularly check the availability of your site and send an alert if it is nor
reachable from the Internet.
- You'll be able to use our tool as a benchmarking tool to check the performance of your
ISP.
- We have the links pointing to your site. You can have a 300 byte long description of your company on our site
- Your name and URL is included in the e-mails sent to our users.
- When we start to charge money for our extra services (like regular monitoring of a site) we will share the revenue with the companies that provide the measurement points used. (details later)
