The Speed-Meter Agent downloads a web-page just
like a web browser would do but instead of displaying it the Agent measures different
parameters of the page. This information is then reported to the central server. The
content of the web-page is discarded immediately. The central server is able to
comunicate with the agents, it provides them with the information on what to measure and
it collects the results from all the agents. Then the central server records the data in
its database. Our users can receive this data immediateely upon completion of the task and
the can see it later on our web pages.
